OPEN CALL: JOIN OUR COMPUTER LEARNING WORKSHOPS
Are you a migrant or a refugee looking to strengthen your digital skills to better navigate daily life, access online services, boost your job prospects, and stay connected?
Take this opportunity to build your computer competencies, master essential digital tools, and gain the confidence to thrive in today’s digital world.
After the success of our first round, the computer learning workshops are back! You can now register for five separate workshops, focused on various skills, of 3 hours each, from the 23rd of June until the 27th of June. All workshops will take place in the morning, from 10:00 to 13:00.
Schedule:
Monday 23rd – 10:00 – 13:00: Basic Digital Literacy
Tuesday 24th – 10:00 – 13:00: Productivity Tools (Google Workspace, Canva)
Wednesday 25th – 10:00 – 13:00: CV & Cover Letter Creation through Productivity Tools and AI
Thursday 26th – 10:00 – 13:00: Public Online Services (Employment, Education, Social Welfare, Legal Status)
Friday 27th – 10:00 – 13:00: Searching and Applying for Jobs Online
Location: GFC Empowerment Center, Themistokli Dervi 43, Nicosia 1066
Participants can choose the workshop they want to attend.
