Training to Support Migrants’ Digital Skills

We are excited to announce that on January 29th & 30th, we hosted a 2-day training on ICT Skills Development for Migrants through the MINDT project in collaboration with Codeca – Center for Social Cohesion, Development and Care. GFC team members conducted sessions focused on effective strategies for improving digital competencies among migrants, intercultural skills, overcoming digital challenges, and using digital tools for everyday tasks.

The training provided participants with the knowledge and skills to navigate online public services and effectively guide migrants through digital government platforms. It covered essential tools for migrant integration, including online applications for healthcare, social services, and education, as well as job search platforms to support employment opportunities.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to CODECA for the warm hospitality and excellent co-organization of the training.

In addition, we are excited to launch a follow-up training in March welcoming professionals working with migrants. This session will revisit key topics, equipping participants with the essential tools and skills to enhance migrant integration through improved digital literacy and access to online services. Updates concerning the logistics will be announced soon!

The training took place in the framework of the MINDT project co-funded by the EU.
